Welcome to the Raynet Tracker. This system allows you to manage radio operator communications, track their locations, manage incidents, and maintain a chronological log of the event in real-time.
🎨 Keys & Colour Codes
Operator Welfare Timers (Active Operators Panel)
The welfare timer tracks how long it has been since an operator last communicated.
- 🟢 Green (< 30 mins): Normal.
- 🟠 Orange (30 - 60 mins): Approaching welfare check. Consider a routine radio check.
- 🔴 Red (> 60 mins): Welfare check required immediately.
Map Pins & Status
When operators are logged on the map, their status dictates the pin's color:
- 🟡 Yellow Pin: Stationary (e.g. at a checkpoint).
- 🔵 Blue Pin: Moving / In Transit.
- 🟢 Green Pin: Arrived at destination.
- 🔴 Red Pin (APRS): Location was automatically updated via APRS.
Timeline Events
- 🟠 Orange Block: An Active or Pending Incident.
- 🟢 Green Block: A Completed Incident.
- 🟦 Blue Block: Standard radio logs and messages.
🗺️ Using the Event Map
You have two ways to manage locations depending on your setup:
- Leaflet / APRS Map (Default): If APRS is enabled, operators with APRS tracking will automatically appear as Red pins on the global map. You can also click anywhere on the map to manually drop a pin for a selected operator.
- Static Upload Map: You can click "Load Map" to upload a custom static image or PDF (like a site plan). Once uploaded, you can drag-and-drop operator callsigns from the left-hand "Key" palette directly onto the map to update their location.
📝 Logging Activity
Use the Log Update panel to record activity:
- Select the Operator.
- Select or type a Location (e.g. Checkpoint Alpha).
- Type the Message or use the Quick Log buttons to auto-fill the message and automatically submit the log.
- Set the Status (Stationary, Moving, Arrived).
- Click Submit Update.
🚨 Incident Management
Found in the Admin Functions menu. Use this to track multi-step occurrences (e.g., "Lost Child", "Road Closure").
- Create the incident with a Title and Location.
- Assign an Operator to it and update its status from
Pending -> Dispatched -> On Scene -> Completed.
- These incidents will prominently display on the Event Timeline.
